In order to get an invitation letter, your symposium registration must be paid. The information required by the IMS to set up the letter which you should provide is the following:

Study & investigation tours are arranged on Oct. 15-16, 2018 as pre-meeting visiting tours. If you chose them, you need to pay for corresponding fee, which includes accommodation, meals and transportation during one day and a half. And if you chose them, you need to arrive in Lincang on Oct. 14, 2018.

Early Bird closing date is June 1, 2018. Early bird price will ONLY be available if payment is received by June 1, 2018.

All registrations received after June 1, 2018 will be treated as regular registrations with the corresponding fee.

You may show your Electronic Ticket and any identification with your name in order to get your badge.

Your badge will be delivered in the IMS registration desk. Please consult the program for registration hours. To obtain the badge, participants must be registered and proper fees must be paid. Your name badge is required in order to attend all symposium events.

All the information related to your symposium registration will appear on your badge: Name, Company/Organization Name and Country.

If cancellation is received before Aug 1, 2018, a 50% administrative fee will be charged for cancellations, 50% refund will be given to registrants

No refunds will be made for no-shows or if you cancel after Aug 1, 2018, whatever the reason.

Cancellations must be made in writing and you must have written acknowledgement from the IMS secretariat to be entitled to a refund. If you are unable to attend, a substitute delegate may be registered before Aug 1, 2018. It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the organizers to alter the content, timings or venue. The organizers will not accept liability for any transport disruption or individual transport delays and in such circumstances normal cancellation terms apply.

In the event of a natural hazard or incident that prevents the running of the Symposium , the organizers reserve the right to retain up to 50% of the fees as a contribution to registration location, marketing and central administration costs.

Registration fees do NOT include insurance of any kind. Symposium Organizers do not take responsibility for any individual, medical, travel or personal insurance for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance.

Participants are advised to arrange their own insurance policies before departure from their countries, as required.

While every attempt is made to ensure efficient, trouble-free hospitality, including hotel accommodation, sightseeing and tours, participants are advised that the organizers are in no way liable in the event of any necessary modifications, including changes to itineraries for tours due to delays or cancellations of flights/other circumstances beyond the organizers’ control.

The host organization and its sponsors are not liable for personal accidents or losses or damages to private property of attendees of the Symposium.

Business or casual attire is recommended for the Symposium sessions. For social events like welcome ceremony, Gala dinner and culture display we recommend casual dress.

No cocktail party, but there is a bonfire party, casual attire is recommended for it.

We will set up a transit reception desk at the Kunming International Airport (Kunming is a capital of Yunnan Province). There will be volunteers and other staffs guiding your transfer to Lincang.

In Lincang, we will arrange bus for you to your hotel.

The easiest way to pay is mobile payment, such as Wechat wallet or Alipa

Major cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc. are not accepted in the hotel and most of the restaurants and shops in Lincang.

If you can not use mobile payment. We recommend you prepare sufficient cash（RMB）in advance.

Should you require medication during the trip, please contact the hotel.

We advise you take your medicine according to your own physical condition.

Smoking is prohibited in public buildings and public transport (including taxis), at workplaces, railway stations, and restaurants. Tobacco consumption is also not allowed outside the grounds of hospitals, health centers, schools and kindergartens.

Conference & Exhibition Center and will have designated outdoor areas for smoking.
